Misti Mukherjee lends support to hairstylists and makeup artistes
At a recent award function, actress Misti Mukherjee dedicated her live performance to hairstylists and makeup artistes. She performed the opening and the closing act, dancing on the theme Retro To Disco. For Misti, a live act before industry stalwarts like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Raveena Tandon and Jackie Shroff, to name a few, was an unforgettable experience.
She says, “I have done movies, videos and even walked the ramp and been a showstopper, but performing live on stage, that too in the presence of Bollywood icons, is a different kick altogether. What also made it special was that it gave me an opportunity to lend my support to makeup and hairstyle professionals. They work as hard as the actors.”
Misti, who was seen in Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi opposite Ranvir Shorey, has signed her next. But she refuses to divulge details. “An official announcement can be expected soon. It’s a film being made by a prominent banner and I am very excited about it,” she says.
