NATIONAL AWARD WINNERS MINGLE AT THIS FILMI BASH
Six National Award winners, who are all part of the Marathi film Uchalya, were present for the launch of the first look of the film. The movie, based on Laxman Gaikwad’s Sahitya Academy Award winning book by the same title, is directed by Ananth Mahadevan.
At the event, Dr Ajeenkya Patil pledged his support to the film. Producer Dinesh Bansal, MD, Meteor Films, expressed his happiness on the movie’s release coinciding with the 25th anniversary of his company in the TV industry. Viveck Shettyy moderated the bash. Actors Upendra Limaye and Usha Jadhav graced the occasion. Also spotted were Brinda Parekh, Longines Fernandes and N Chandra, who was accompanied by his two sons.
