Salman to do an item number for Ranbir’s film?

Buzz is that actor Salman Khan has been approached to do an item number for director Ayaan Mukherjee’s next. The yet-to-be-titled film stars ex-lovers actor Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. A source tells us, “They have indeed approached Salman for an item number in the film. It will be exceptional if they get hold of Salman. We haven’t seen him in that avatar yet, but surely his fans will love it. But the actor hasn’t confirmed it yet.” However, sources believe that the actor might say yes to return a past favour. “Ranbir did an item number for Salman’s maiden production venture Chillar Party (2011), so as a favour, Salman might agree. Recently, Salman met Ranbir by chance and even invited him to have lunch with him,” the source further adds. According to reports, even actor Ajay Devgn has requested Salman to do an item number for his next Son Of Sardar.
