Actor Emraan Hashmi’s popularity seems to be soaring with event organisers offering him world tours and stage shows

Actor Emraan Hashmi is slowly but steadily climbing up the ladder in popularity. Following recent news reports of him being one of the few actors to have the most number of hits to his credit, Emraan is now being approached by various event organisers and stage show companies to sign him up for various shows, abroad as well as in the country. As per the latest buzz doing the rounds, Emraan is a hot name when it comes to live acts or performances in the circuit. The actor who was once tagged as the serial kisser is now one of the most commercially successful actors in B-Town. A source close to the actor reveals, “In the recent past, Emraan has become a name to reckon with and many producers are willing to cast him in pivotal roles, especially after Murder 2 and The Dirty Picture. They think he has the star power to pull in the crowds. The music of his films has always been his plus point and now people are cashing in on it. It’s barely been a few days that the music of his next film Jannat 2 hit the stands and he has already been offered a whooping amount to perform live at events. Emraan has been getting offers by organisers to do a one man show —for either a world tour or India tour at a price which has never been offered to anyone.” While the price is not yet being revealed, industry insiders say that it is indeed a huge amount, running into a couple of crores. When asked about this recent development, Emraan remained tight-lipped as he said, “I am quite surprised and overwhelmed with the requests for tours and shows. For now I haven’t committed to doing any. However, if something good comes along, I will make an announcement about the same.”
