What’s Kangana doing in the US?
Apart from catching up with her rumoured US-based boyfriend, the actor might apparently be giving Hollywood offers a shot
Actor Kangana Ranaut, insists those close to her, is vacationing in the US, apparently catching up with her US-based boyfriend. “Yes she’s on a well-deserved break there. She had been shooting non-stop these past several months including for Krissh 2 and decided to make the most of her free days before she starts shooting for her other films including Shootout At Wadala, Tanu Weds Manu sequel, and Dedh Ishqiya here. She's in the US for a mini-vacation and she is also completing a little personal work. It’s a week-long holiday and she should be back by this weekend,” says a source close to the actor.
Another insider however let's on that it may not be just a pleasure trip. “More than just US calling, it may be Hollywood calling!” reveals the insider. According to the buzz, the actor may actually be contemplating two Hollywood offers at present, though it’s all still a very hush-hush affair. “Yes there have been offers, but Kangana’s never given them a serious thought. But she may want to check out some agents, whilst there, though nothing is confirmed for now. Kangana herself will talk about it when things are finalised. Right now it’s too early to talk about them," says the insider.
Brushing off the not-so-surprising co-incidence of Kangana being away for personal work at the time when promotions of her action thriller Tezz were on in full swing here, further fanning speculations of the brewing trouble between her and actor Ajay Devgn, the source adds that the rumours are not true. “Her trip to the US was planned in advance. The constant delays in the film’s release made it impossible for Kangana to juggle her dates with other films. She feels that as an actor she has done her best, so there should be no room for complaint for her co-stars or filmmakers,” says a source. About the fall-out with Ajay, Kangana said, “After Kites, there were rumours of me falling out with Hrithik (Roshan), but well here I am doing another film with them. It’s the same with Ajay!”
On her return, the actor is expected to finish her schedules for Krissh and she will then start shooting for Shootout... where she’s playing a middle-class Maharashtrian girl. “I have always played characters older than my actual age, and it’s the same here,” she added.
