Given the fickle nature of the industry, it’s rare to see B-Towners have long-lasting friendships with each other. Competition, insecurity and fragile egos have often proven to be the wedges, driving even the closest of friends apart. In a scenario like this, it is hardly surprising that when these Bolly folks do find true friends, they hold them really close to their hearts. Here’s looking at some of these B-Town friendships that would give the onscreen dostis a run for their money. Among them, actors Salman Khan and John Abraham could very well win the Mr Congeniality awards, though strangely enough the two are known to be at loggerheads with each other. While John’s known to be best friends with cricketer MS Dhoni, he’s known to be equally good friends with Abhishek Bachchan and more recently Akshay Kumar after working with him on Desi Boyz and Housefull 2. In fact, John has even credited Akshay for his decision to consider marriage seriously. Meanwhile, Salman is known to be quite close to Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, as well as Sanjay Dutt. While he treats Sanju more like a big brother, and is like family for Aamir, he is just as close to former co-actor Devgn. From holding special screenings for each other to sharing tips on fitness and even doing walk-in parts in each other’s films, the two have openly spoken about their respect for each other. Salman is known to be quite close to Kajol too. Meanwhile, Ajay is rather close to director Rohit Shetty, with whom he has given a long list of hits.
