Permissions are being awaited for actor Ranbir Kapoor's film's music launch in a dargah

While paying a visit to holy shrines and temples has been the ritual with celebrities in recent times, they are now going a step further to enhance their spiritual connect.
Apparently, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali is looking to release the music of his upcoming release Rockstar at Nizamuddin Dargah in Delhi.
Music composer AR Rahman and filmmaker Imtiaz Ali are regulars at the sacred shrine of Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya and are apparently trying to release the music of their film at the Dargah. Imtiaz has also apparently shot a quawali sequence at the sacrosanct place and trying to work out the necessary permission to launch the music album. Actor Ranbir Kapoor also apparently stayed at the holy shrine for a couple of days, while he shot for the quawali number. But that's not the only connection the actor has with the dargah. Sources insist that his grandfather, legendary actor Raj Kapoor too would frequent the Sufi shrine before the film's release.
The source reveals more, "Rahman will also be present at the music launch. It is going to be a night event and the quawali from the film will also be performed live at the venue. The launch, will apparently take place towards the end of September.
