The better half of actor Arshad Warsi, VJ/actor Maria Goretti, has taken her passion for food to a whole new level. Maria has enrolled herself into celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's Tante Marie School of Cookery in UK. The mother of two is flying out later this week, for a 10 weeks course at the culinary institute.
Talking about this new development in her life, she says, "I have been thinking about joining a culinary institute for a long time now. I browsed through a lot of institutions, but all of them had one to two year courses. But I couldn't afford to do these courses. The time period simply didn't allow me to pursue these courses."
At the end, Maria settled with famous chef, TV personality and restaurateur Gordon Ramsay's culinary school. "It was the ideal course for me. It is a well divine certificate course running for only 10 weeks." The cookery course teaches the core, classical skills of professional cookery needed for everything, starting from basic cooking to wines, baking, soups, starters, breads among others. It is a pretty demanding course, as the classes' starts from 9 in the morning and continues till 4.30 in the evening.
Maria's passion for food is not a new thing. She has a food blog, where she regularly posts food and drinks recipes straight from her kitchen; she has also appeared in a cookery show in a popular lifestyle television channel.
