Actor Prateik whose next film is up for release in the coming week has decided to go celibate till the film hits the screens
Bollywood is going a step further besides promoting their films to ensure that they get a good response at the box-office. In a bid to be different and with the hope and belief that his film will do well, actor Prateik has decided to go celibate till the time his film releases. This is the first time Prateik is doing something extra besides promoting his film before the release.
Talking about this weird vow that he recently took, he says, "This is my first solo hero film and log kya kya nahi karte before their film releases. Some visit religious places to seek blessings, some take a vow of giving up on certain things. I have decided to go celibate. I am just 24 and it is my test and I am sure, I will pass this too."
While he is super excited about his first solo-hero film to release, he is also excited about the fact that he will be experimenting with comedy. "Till date, the audience has only seen my intense side and with this film, I have pushed the boundaries. I have tested myself as an actor and stepped out of my comfort zone. I have this serious image though I am quite chilled out," he says. He has also learnt to dance and though he has managed to scrape through, he says dance isn't his cup of tea. "Dancing is not an easy job at all. It was fun like everything else but then it is a different ball game al together."
