The launch of Ra.One's music added a twist to what’s now a routine event leading up to the film’s release. So, this one turned out to be a mini concert — stage lit up by blue electric bolts as an extension to the promos, live performances, a little masti with the popular TV bahus, sex appeal in form of Kareena Kapoor, stunts by Shah Rukh Khan, of course and a stunning finish with the film’s lead pair replicating the film’s poster. Akon was there too (if not physically) in the making of their music video and the song that played throughout the evening. Also making their presence felt were Arjun Rampal, Anubhav Sinha, Karan Johar, Shahana Goswami, Sunil Lulla, and Sukhwinder Singh amongst others. However, the power statement came just before the event — there was traffic jam on the road leading to the venue! When is the last time you heard of a traffic snarl, which took hours to disintegrate, in Filmcity?
