Sarika’s special appearance in David

    Sarika is now part of Bejoy Nambiar’s bilingual David. She will be seen dancing to a qawwali number in the Hindi version of the film.
    Bejoy confirmed the news and told BT, “We approached Sarika a few days ago, and pitched to her the idea of making a special appearance in the film. We told her the situation in which she will have to make the guest appearance, and she was game for it. When she heard that she will be dancing to a qawwali number, she was doubly kicked. We have already finished shooting her portions, and are very happy with the way it’s turned out.”
    Sarika, Kamal Haasan’s ex-wife, and mother of Shruti and Akshara, will appear only in David’s Hindi version. The film, starring Vikram, Jiiva, Nasser and a couple of other South Indian actors, is simultaneously being made in Tamil.
