DAPPER MEN ON THE RUNWAY

DAPPER MEN ON THE RUNWAY

The second day of the fashion week saw quite a few dapper men take to the runway as showstoppers. Many collections too were inspired by masculine qualities and featured androgynous silhouettes.
During the day, we spotted Randeep Hooda, Prateik and Nawazuddin Siddiqui walking the ramp. Troy Costa’s show also saw the Shillong Chamber Choir giving live music to the show, while Shantanu Goenka had Bollywood tunes in his. In fact, during this edition of the Lakme Fashion Week, many designers are showcasing menswear as that is fast becoming a lucrative market for Indian designers.

Shantanu Goenka added drama to the evening as he presented a collection high on feminine silhouettes, which had been adapted for men. Inspired by the colour black, he had Sonal Chauhan walk as his showstopper. Seen here is model Azim walking in a sheer skirt-silhouette outfit
