Young designers Barkha and Sonzal displayed their collection titled ‘Beautiful Mind’ in a colourful show at the Talent Box section of the fashion week on Monday.
Their eclectic menswear collection featured funky jackets and trousers in a variety of bright hues. Fabrics used ranged from cotton, suiting material and brocade, which were heavily accentuated by appliqués, dori work, colour patches and zips for an added edge.
Adding a hint of glamour and celeb quotient to their showcase were their showstoppers — musician Rahul Sharma and actor Aditya Roy Kapur. In fact, Rahul is married to one half of the designer sister duo — Barkha Patel.
Cheering the designers and showstoppers from the front row were Terrence Lewis, Pandit Shivkumar Sharma and Aditya Thackeray.
