American man killed by toy helicopter
In a bizarre incident, a 19-year-old man in the US was killed instantly by his remote-controlled helicopter when it boomeranged while being flown and slashed him in the head.
According to police, Roman Pirozek was flying his model helicopter in Broklyn on Thursday when it malfunctioned. Officials said the chopper suddenly boomeranged back at Pirozek, slashing him in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe head trauma, it was reported.
Brooklyn Councilman Domenic Recchia is now trying to postpone flying electronic planes until it’s determined what rules and regulations can be put in place to prevent another similar incident.
