R-Patz in James Dean biopic
Robert Pattinson is all set to star in a James Dean biopic, but the actor won’t be playing the role of the Hollywood icon, it has been revealed. In the movie, which is about the life of the actor who died young and helped define what it means to be a teenager, Pattinson has been cast as Dennis Stock, a photographer with the legendary Magnum agency who shot Dean for Life magazine in 1955, a website reported.
Meanwhile, Dean will be played by actor Dane DeHaan in the movie named Life. The film will be directed by Anton Corbijn and will focus on the road trip around the US the two men took for that shoot and the impact it had on both their lives.
