Rakesh Roshan’s 64th birthday was celebrated in style by his family at a plush hotel in Worli on Friday evening. Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor, Rekha, Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani, Zoya Akhtar and Honey Irani were some of the celebrities in attendance. The party began on an emotional note, with Hrithik Roshan raising a toast to his dad. He apparently rehearsed his speech many times before the do. At the end of it, the entire Roshan clan got onto a stage and sang while the veteran producer-director cut his birthday cake. Hrithik personally met every guest and ensured that they were all looked after. To further pep up the occasion and make the evening more vibrant, the actor took to the dance floor, performing to remixed hits from his father’s movies. He also ensured that his family and friends let their hair down on the dance floor. Also present were Subrato Roy and Prem Chopra among others. Kangana Ranaut was amongst the last to arrive for the party that went on past 3 am.
