Topless protestors gatecrash Paris Fashion Week
There’s been a curious surge in the number of streakers invading fashion weeks to bring attention to several protests — sometimes serious and sometimes dubious.During the Milan Fashion Week in June, a male streaker, who was wearing nothing save sneakers, disrupted the Dolce and Gabbana show and ran across the catwalk. This weekend, the Nina Ricci show at the Paris Fashion Week suffered the same fate as two topless Femen protestors invaded the runway in the middle of the show. The slogan on one of the ladies read ‘Fashion dictater’. The duo entered the runway, started screaming and ran towards the photographers. Even though they were soon forced off the stage by security personnel, they did manage to grab attention at the show.
