Mega TV series on Buddha launched

    Amega teleseries on the life and times of Gautam Buddha was launched on Monday evening. The show, titled Buddha, has been produced by Dr BK Modi of Spice Studios, and will highlight memorable experiences and teachings of the spiritual leader. All of us, at one point or another, have read or heard about Buddha. But intricate details about Prince Siddhartha’s life are unknown to many, says Dr Modi.
    The launch, held at a suburban hotel, saw the actors of the series dressed like their characters in the show. The event, which had a theme in sync with the subject of the show, began with the lighting of the inaugural lamp.
    After that, a Buddhist monk spoke about the life of Buddha and how it has a huge impact on a person’s life. The audience were also treated to glimpses of the show.
