RITEISH GETS ADVENTUROUS FOR FILM’S COMIC CLIMAX

The success of his maiden production venture, Balak Palak in Marathi, under his banner Mumbai Film Company, ensured that 2013 started with a bang for Riteish Deshmukh. Now, he’s making his debut as an actor in Marathi films with his next, Lai Bhaari. While regional cinema seems to be a priority for him these days, Riteish is also gearing for the release of his upcoming Bollywood film Grand Masti, directed by Indra Kumar.
Interestingly, the actor was shooting for Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum when he was offered the Masti sequel. At the end of the narration, he’s believed to have confessed to Kumar that this was going to be his most outrageous comedy so far. In fact, for the shooting of the climax, he didn’t even mind being on a harness for a couple of hours at a stretch. Usually, harness is used for action sequences. In a rare case, it has been used for the over-the-top comic climax of the movie. We’re told Riteish was more than willing to go the extra mile. The actor is also going all out to ensure his fans get entertained at the promotional activities of the film. He has been at the forefront, making sure all his interactions are comical and engaging. Looks like he is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the year ends
with a bang too.
