It's Teacher's Day and celebs suggest what you can present your mentor…

It's that time of the year when you want to show your favourite teacher that you appreciate him/her, but don't know how. At such times, it's best to keep it simple, say celebrities.
Shazahn Padamse

Everybody loves surprises, so do your teachers. Drop by at your teacher's house just to greet them on the occasion. Or simply, try getting something unique to surprise your teacher like actor Shazahn Padamse. "I had gone to LA when I was in tenth. I picked up an Oscar for my teacher there. It said 'best teacher in the world' and she simply loved it," she says.
Shibani Kashyap

Singer Shibani Kashyap feels differently. "I won a school singing competition, but I gave the award to my teacher instead as she deserved it more than me for making me that capable," she recollects.
Musician Ehsaan Noorani is trying toget that one perfect guitar. He had presented a guitar to his spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and he now wants to gift one to his music guru too. "It's out of stock, so I'm just waiting patiently."

Singer Raghav Sachar, however, has a word of caution. He laughs about having once picked up some cute short liqueur glasses only to realise later that his teacher does not drink. "I'd suggest that if it's a gym instructor give him a tennis racket; a painting should be a good present for an art teacher."
Sunidhi Chauhan

Singer Sunidhi Chauhan has never gifted her teachers in school as she was always absent. "But if I were to pick something now, I'd present them a cool pair of shades."
