Antakshari on Taarak Mehta

   Ganeshotsav is over. But at Gokuldham Society of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, celebrations are far from over. As part of festivities, the society will host an antakshari competition titled Suron Ki Jung.
    While the entire cast will be seen gearing up to put their best foot — read best voice — forward in the hourlong special episode, it was a different story offscreen. The actors were shocked to learn that the songs will be recorded in their own voice.
    Finally, to put everyone at ease, a vocal trainer was arranged. Everyone, including Tapu Sena, Daya, Jetha, Babita, Aiyyer, Sodhi and Komal spent extra hours on the sets, to practise and get their songs right.
    Aiyyer lent his voice to Humein Tumse Pyaar Kitna, while Jetha sang
Yeh Shaam Mastani. Daya crooned Naina Barse, Bhide sang Suhana Safar, Tapu Sena gave a rendition of Nanhe Munhe Bachche and Komal sang Hai Re Hai.
    Disha Wakhani aka Dayaben says, “It’s going to be a fun-filled episode with all of us singing songs from all eras. I am actually looking forward to see this episode on air and relive the experience.” Watch the grand finale of the Antakshari episode tonight at 9 pm on SAB TV.
