Thumbs up at Toronto Film Festival
The film saw jam-packed theatre halls at the Toronto Film Festival. It was screened on September 14 at the Roy Thompson Hall, where it received an overwhelming response from the global audience, who gave it a standing ovation. Almost everyone present there connected with Sridevi’s character, Shashi. The film had struck a chord with their problems with language. People also loved Amitabh Bachchan’s cameo.
