Actor Ravi Kishan's maid jumps to death
27-year-old help was under depression, say cops
A maid employed at the house of Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan allegedly committed suicide by jumping from a 14th floor building in Malad.
According to police, preliminary investigations have revealed that Rubi was facing some personal problems and had come to the city two months ago.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Mahesh Patil said incident took place at Garden Estate building of Laxmi Nagar in Malad (West) around 7pm on Friday.
The deceased was in the flat along with two other maids and the actor's wife. The police have learned that Rubi, 27, locked herself inside the bathroom and jumped from the bathroom window.
"I heard a loud noise and saw the woman's body. I immediately covered her body with a cloth," said a resident of the building.
The police said Rubi was brought to Mumbai by a spot boy about two months ago and was workign at the actor's house. Sources said the maid was under depression.
The police that they will soon question Kishan, who is currently out of town for shooting.
