Brands don't make you, you do

Entrepreneur and party man Viren Khanna gets talking about the style fundamentals that he follows

The basic thing in a man's wardrobe is a pair of jeans. Currently, jeans from Zara are my favourite. I have at least five pairs in my wardrobe at any given point.
I love matching my jeans with tees. I have a whole range of them to suit any occasion, be it for coffee or for clubbing.
You may not believe it, but a nice tee, which isn't something over the top or funky, can be a good option for business meetings too.
The best shoes to go with a pair of jeans I've found is Converse. You have many colours and patterns, so it adds variety to your looks.
I love jackets. They are perfect for every ensemble, casual or formal. I have one with me all the time. I like slim fit jackets.
I'm a big fan of formal clothing. Even at my parties, the crowds look their best when they're all in formal.
I love shirts by Armani and Zara. I think they are stylish and well tailored.
While I believe that brands are a force to reckon with, I don't think you need branded clothes on you all the time. Most of the time you're the only one who knows about the brand you're wearing. Fit and comfort is more important.
Good watches are a must. I have many chunky, big dial watches.
I also think spectacle frames (with zero power lenses) are a good style option. It gives you a new look, even if you're repeating clothes.
