It'll be sometime before actor Abhay Deol gets over the experience of meeting Hollywood hottie Scarlett Johansson

Actor Abhay Deol, who's been on a travelling spree, was a guest of honour at a couple of international events. He first flew to Toronto for a special festival that recognised his work and contribution to Indian cinema. After that he headed to New York for another assignment as well as took part in the Independence Day Parade there. He then proceeded to Shanghai as a special invitee for Diner Du Siecle (Dinner of the Century), where he shared the spotlight on the red carpet with Hollywood hottie, Scarlett Johansson. Abhay was felicitated for being the only Indian actor invited to the event.
Abhay and Scarlett were a part of the same dinner table that night. Recalling his encounter with the diva, he says, "She's extremely gracious and lovely. I had dinner with her and meeting her was an absolutely great experience. She is warm and friendly." While he was abroad, speculation has been rife about him being a part of Ek Chalis Ki Last Local sequel. "I do not know where this has come from. No one has approached me for anything," says a surprised Abhay. "It is a bit silly because that way anyone can say anything. Tomorrow I could say that I am doing a film with XYZ but there has to be some truth to it. It's stupid to talk about such things. In any case, I haven't been approached and even if they do, I frankly have no time to do it", he dismisses any future speculations on it.
What about the other rumours of him getting engaged and married to girlfriend actor Preeti Desai? "My mother once read that I had got engaged and called up my sister (as I was travelling) to check if it was true. Now, they are getting used to it," says Abhay. "But parents being parents, they do want me to settle down but there is no pressure. They know me pretty well and let me live my life," he says.
