Everyone knows that new filmmakers need support from everybody. They need to be encouraged and pushed towards excellence. So here it is: It's a good try by director-actor Shubh Mukherjee and it clearly shows that he has put in a lot of effort.
The film has a bunch of youngsters who seem to have given it their best shot. They have also roped in veteran actors like Saurabh Shukhla and Raghubir Yadav who have also done their best, may be because they know that they are trying to help the youngsters. It won't even come as a surprise if we hear that Saurabh, Raghubir or Aamna haven't charged a penny for their performances because clearly the film is made on a shoe-string budget (incidentally the film also has Hrithsita Bhatt as the co-producer). No doubt, the film is a good try, but there's also no doubt about the fact that there's plenty of scope to learn for these youngsters.
Here're a few pointers for them to get the basics right. First, the script needs to be right. Sample this: A suspected terrorist won't be seated in a cosy office of the police superintendent for four hours and since when did Delhi have local trains just like the ones in Mumbai?
Only if these basics are kept in mind, then of course, a good film can be made. But then again, these are learning experiences for the filmmakers. And the audience can surely be kept out of the picture at the moment.
