Zaheer and Sushama's jugalbandi
The cricketer and the actor have collaborated to start their own online clothing brand
Cricketers and Bollywood stars are known to have their own side business, be it owning nightclubs, restaurants, or fashion brands, apart from their cricketing and acting career that is. Joining the bandwagon is fast bowler Zaheer Khan and B-town actor Sushama Reddy. Both of them have come together to launch their own online clothing brand.
Not to be surpassed by her sibling actor Sameera Reddy, who is launching her own clothing line, Sushama has taken upon herself to helm the reigns of this new fashion brand. Recently, Sushama was in Delhi for the launch of her brand. Also present was co-owner Zaheer, the speedster's first venture outside cricket. Talking about the brand Sushama says, "It's high time that online shopping becomes accepted among the Indian customers. I share a special bond with it since I am an investor along with Zaheer Khan." Sushama will also take an active interest in the functioning of the company by being the consultant cum advisor for the women's fashion line.
"I am overwhelmed to be a part of the brand," adds Zaheer. But this is not the first time that someone from Bollywood has joined another person from the world of cricket to start a business venture. Previously, model turned actor Zulfi Syed and cricketer Suresh Raina had teamed up to start a clothes boutique.
