There's a partial solar eclipse in Sagittarius tomorrow...
The moon passes between the Earth and the Sun tomorrow, marking the last of the four partial eclipses of the year 2011. And though "it (eclipse) cannot be seen from Mumbai", as Suhas Nayak of Nehru Centre Planetorium points out, the new moon in Sagittarius influences almost all signs.
Numerologist Sanjay B Jumaani suggests that the Sagittarius solar eclipse is good for those with numbers 3, 12, 31 and 21. "Those belonging to Leo, Aries or Sagittarius will see this as a lucky period. Sagittarius is a fire sign — a poor plus good example of it is Rakhi Sawant. One should avoid being too straight forward," explains Jumaani, as he highlights that it'll be a particularly lucky period for cricketing star Sachin Tendulkar. "He might just score his 100th century!" He adds that the rest should guard against being impatient and short-tempered.
And here's what the tarot has to say. "The eclipse will prove good for Cancer, Capricorn, Pisces, Leo and Virgo," asserts tarot reader Munisha Khatwani. "While the rest could be temperamental and may have work, health or relationship issues," she adds, stressing on the fact that mood swings could happen leaving one feeling depressed for no reason. Unlike the planetary transit (like the Saturn transit that happened recently), the eclipse influence lasts only for a couple of days "since the moon is shifting to a new home, the effect happens four days before the eclipse and lasts till four to five days post the eclipse". Munisha stresses that Sagittarians will benefit on career front.
Astrologer Bejan Daruwalla calculates that it'll be a good time for airy signs — Libra, Aquarius and Gemini; and not so good for the earthy signs like Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo. "The effect of this eclipse will last till March. Overall, there will be disturbances around the world. There might be an earthquake or a rail/air accident," he says. "However, it'll be a confusing phase for Librans," says astrologer Soniyaa Bhaagiyaa.
