Actor Sonakshi Sinha talks about her first brush with international fashion at the haute hub of style

It's been her debut visit to Paris and actor Sonakshi Sinha just can't stop raving about her experience there, last month. She keeps repeating that visiting Paris was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for her because she's always been a student of fashion.
"It was a great cultural experience. Being an artistic person, I always make sure that I get a chance to explore the art and culture and the beauty of a place, wherever I go…I got the chance to do that in Paris!" she exclaims.
So, did she explore the architectural marvels there? "Although I didn't get to go inside the Louvre, I can say that from the outside, it was architectural brilliance at its best. The Eiffel Tower again, is truly a marvel. It's something that someone always wishes to see while growing up. I must say that it lives up to every expectation. The LV Espace Culturel was also a very interesting place to be in. Do you know that the themes of their exhibits change every three months? This time around it was the Indonesian arts. It was all very colourful and vibrant…" she says.
Sonakshi says that she felt on top of the world when she was asked to represent India there. Her first brush with international fashion was somehow like this. "The experience was surreal actually. For someone who is just one film old, it was a great honour to represent India and it was absolutely fantastic. I even tweeted about how it was my most extravagant fashion experience yet. Taking in all the beautiful sights and sounds, the grandeur and finally the glamour will always be memorable to me," she says.
But what about the fashion? Sonakshi has a bird's eye view of it. She says that everything that she saw there was realistic, that is, wearable on a day-to-day basis. "About fashion and trend, well, it was absolutely fantastic. Everything was great about it, right from the presentation, to the colours and cuts - it was just so right. Most of the things that I saw on the runway were extremely wearable on a regular basis and the new bags and shoes would be great new additions to any woman's wardrobe. From start-to-finish, each ensemble was beautifully put together," she said.
