What's the b'day boy busy doing?
Actor Arjun Rampal, whose birthday falls on the same date as the terror attacks has taken up a cause on Twitter
Actor Arjun Rampal's turning a year older today and this year around, he has much to celebrate too. Hit films and a brand new TV show apart, he recently also successfully hosted the post-party of India's first Grand Prix event. But sources close to the actor reveal that while he will be celebrating the day today with family and friends, the fact that he happens to share his birth date with the 26/11 terror attacks never really goes out of his mind. "Arjun may not say it or admit to it, but the fact is that he is rather touchy about the day too. He makes it a point to pray for all the victims and thank God for keeping his family and loved ones safe," says the source.
The actor, has of late also been supporting the Gateway movement, and it is something that he feels rather strongly about too. The source adds, "Arjun would never speak up or take up an issue just for the heck of it. He would do it only if it's something that's really close to his heart. And anything to do with the terror attacks in Mumbai, or in fact in any part of the country is something that each one of us feels for. And Arjun too wholeheartedly supports the cause of rededicating the Gateway to the Indian jawans and the spirit of Indians." The actor even tweeted about it. "Support #People's Gateway movement to rededicate Gateway of India to d spirit of soldier in every Indian," he wrote on the micro-blogging site.
On the work front, the actor's currently busy working on his second production and also hosting his new show. But at present he's more excited about his role as a dad. "The past few months were very busy so he's making sure to spend time with his daughters, especially on his birthday," shares the source. In fact, when asked about his fave role, the actor had earlier said that he loves the role of being a dad the most. "My life revolves around my family. No matter how passionate I am about work, it will always be a part of my life, while my daughters are my life," he'd earlier said.
