Actor Lisa Ray returns to Canada to host a reality TV show there
Actor Lisa Ray is starting her second innings in reality television and this time she will be seen hosting a cookery show which has been popularised by model-anchor Padma Lakhsmi in the UK. Lisa, who's been free from cancer for sometime now, is taking her kitchen duties seriously and is said to be spending a lot of time going through the scripts given to her by the production team.
"Her reality show will be aired for the audiences in Canada. She is taking over the hosting duties from actor Thea Andrews, who recently gave birth to her second child," says a source.
"I am looking forward to the delicious season and I am preparing myself for it," says Lisa in a statement. The show will be airing on March 12 next year on Canadian television.
"The Canadian spinoff of the US competition series features the country's top culinary talent competing in weekly challenges. The winner gets $100,000, a kitchen worth $30,000 and the coveted title of Canada's Top Chef. Though the show is not available in India, but one can log onto the wesbsite to see the shows," the source adds.
