As son Abhishek resumes work from Monday, grand dad Amitabh Bachchan will be staying at home to give his new grand daughter company

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has for the first time indicated that he would like to go on a temporary break to concentrate on his granddaughter. At a media interaction held at his Juhu property Janak, on Tuesday evening, Bachchan said on a lighter note that he is 'jobless' and that he would like to focus his efforts on raising his grandchild now. "I am jobless right now. My show Kaun Banega Crorepati is also over and there is no other film that I will be shooting for right now. I have also not taken up any other work (brand endorsements etc) right now," said Amitabh while accepting wishes on the birth of his grand daughter. It was son, actor Abhishek Bachchan who at this point added that his dad now has a full-time job. "No, he is not jobless, he is on full time duty. He has to take care of his grand daughter!" said Abhi. He went on to clarify that he would be resuming his work Monday onwards and Amitabh would be there at home to 'play' with his grand daughter. "I don't want to take just one, but in fact all his (Amitabh's) qualities as a dad. I remember, dad was always there... be it our doctor's appointment, or the first day of school, or open house and so on. He was always there for us and I too want to be there for her always," said an elated Abhishek.
